"I arrived down at the marina late Friday evening, it was dark, and I was amazed to find that the new canopy was already fitted. I had a closer look on Saturday morning and I was most impressed with the high quality of workmanship and the attention to detail. I can only say that I was more than pleased - I think a fellow berth holder summed it all up with the words "Ar'nt you smart" Thank you for an exceptional job well done"

Frank Jones “Fijitee Jay” Northney Marina

"Many thanks for the work on the boat"

Mike Faulkner Athena 38 Catamaran “Serenity” Endeavour Quay Gosport

"We took the boat (AND CANOPY ) out this week end, they both performed beautifully and with the wet weather we were as dry as could be, even when sailing.

Johns design is perfect - thanks a million."

Simon and Emma Anderton Moody 49 Haslar Marina

"I am just dropping you an email to say how pleased we are with the bimini conversion and sprayhood back that you supplied. John and Arnie did a great job, quickly and carefully and I would ask you to thank them for me as well. Bearing in mind that we have just suffered the coldest November for a very long time, we were sitting in the cockpit having dinner the night that it was fitted. We were very pleasantly surprised at the warmth and the ability to experience 'summer dining' in the depths of winter... It has made an incredible improvement to getting in and out of the boat and has provided another VERY BIG cabin which has made entertaining in the winter a real pleasure.

It has transformed our use of the yacht during the winter and has prompted a number of our 'neighbours' to consider getting their yachts done as well - expect a few phonecalls from Brighton!!!

So far, we think that this is the best (certainly most visible) money that we have spent on Novastar to date."

Dave and Rebecca Little SO45ds “Novastar” Brighton Marina

"Well that was a nice surprise !! We went to the boat at the weekend and were surprised to see how quickly you'd made and fitted the bimini. We were even more surprised when we opened it up and saw how beautifully made it was and how well it fitted. A really great job and yes, you can quote me!!"

D Cumella Delphia 40.2 “RV II” Gsoport Premier Marina

"Hi Ally, Popped down to see the boat today and was pleasantly surprised to see the boom tent already fitted! Looks really good, and I'm VERY pleased! Best regards Paul"

Mr Paul Nolan Moody 49 “Royal Sapphire” Swanwick Marina

"Dear John and Ally, I have visited BENBO at Chichester Marina today and seen the new sprayhood! It looks very good and strong. Thank you for your prompt service. Best regards"

Mr Vaughan Westerly Griffon CYB

Will Parsons Oyster 406 – “MUSKRAT” Brighton Marina

“My husband happened to be at the boat last night and was delighted to find that the work had been done. He is very pleased with the completed work. He was also very impressed with the additional touches such as the reinforcement on the back panel where the tiller might rub when in the upright position. I would also like to thank you and your staff for the efficient, speedy way that the work has been carried out. I would have no hesitation in recommending your company in the future. With many thanks”
Isabel Gregg “Etain” – Dufour 32 Shamrock Quay

“Dear John, we returned yesterday from our holiday to find that you have completed our cockpit tent on “Cygnet” and it looks terrific! Well done and a super fit too, we shall look forward to making full use of it for the remainder of this season and during 2010’s annual cruise. All the very best to you and the team at Tecsew and thanks for doing such a super job"
David & Jane Brett “Cygnet” Jeanneau Sun Odyssey 42.2 – Lymington

“Dear Ally, I am writing to thank you for an exceptional service and excellent quality goods supplied. I do not normally send letters of thanks and have become used to receiving broken items, goods with bits missing and other goods are very badly made. Having ordered my Bimini from you, and needing it desperately, I was delighted when I found that not only did you manage to make it and have it ready for me well before my deadline but I received it and fitted it to my boat and it fitted perfectly. The quality is second to none – brilliant!! I will not hesitate to pass you name on to anyone that may be interested in the services and goods you offer with my endorsement that will not be disappointed. My additional thanks to you personally, for the professional and friendly way in which you organized all this for me. Many thanks again”
Paul Spencer Sealine 425 – Mallorca, Palma

“I would like to say that the new cockpit cover has transformed the boat immensely and I have not been so pleased with a purchase ever before. The difference is absolutely fantastic”
Geoff Curtis “Pandora” at the Beaulieu River

“Ally, wheel cover absolutely splendid and flag cover very smart”
John Eveson “Moody Blue” – Moody 40 at Haslar Marina

"Just a short note of appreciation for the excellent making and fitting of extended Aft Canopy and Tonneau cover for my Princess 430. The quality of workmanship and materials exceeded my exceeded my expectations and I would have no hesitation in recommending your Company's services. Once again many thanks for a good job well done"

Tony Gilliam, Princess 430

"We are delighted with the conversion. It gives us an easy deployed Bimini for use in hot weather and also for use while sailing in rain. When moored up, we are able to deploy the enclosure which turns the cockpit area into cosy living space in foul or colder weather. There is no awkward extra steel-work to find a home for when the cockpit tent is stowed so all we have to find a home for is a few pieces of canvas. Dismantling it is a doddle. Putting it up takes a couple of tries to figure out the best order to do things in - but then it becomes easy. It takes us about 5 minutes to erect. The Velcro assistance on the side-panels helps and the bungee attachments around the base of the tent are easily deployed and removed from inside the tent. When erected, the whole thing looks like a 'proper job' blending nicely with the original design. With the Bimini up it has always taken a bit of ducking and weaving to get between the cockpit and the side deck. This is inevitable given the geometry and is quite manageable. The entrances to the tent from the side decks inherits the same slight difficulty. We anticipate that stern-to-mooring in the Med will make this even less of a problem. With hidsight, I would pay more attention to the tapes which secure the side and particularly rear panels when rolled up. These are fiddly to do up and not very secure. I would recommend toggles and loops - preferably with some bungee involved - for any future attempts"

Mr and Mrs Kitson, Southerly 35RS, Bimini Conversion

“The cushions have arrived today safely and are looking fantastic. Thanks very much for the prompt service”
Richard Longdon owner of a Jeanneau 49DS 2006 new.

“I was out on the boat with friends from Wednesday evening and was completely surprised that the bimini and cushions had been fitted. I’m very pleased with everything - thank you so much”
Owner of a Jeanneau Sun Odyssey 49.

I have to say that I am amazed you have completed the work so quickly
Beneteau 411 owner for whom Tecsew made a bimini and sprayhood."

“Doesn’t that look splendid! I know one thing – a strong west wind carrying rain will not stop us enjoying being on board anymore. Its like having another room on the yacht. The area within the cockpit enclosure is warm enough for the kids to sleep in"
Mr and Mrs Eveson, Owners of a Moody 36 who ordered a sprayhood and cockpit enclosure.

"The Cockpit enclosure fitted to my Moody 36 is a great success. It effectively lengthens the boat providing a "room in the cockpit" The fixtures and fittings are robust and the precision fitting ensures we can sail the boat in all conditions with it folded in the cockpit as we have done for hundreds of hours. Most yachtsmen do not realise this and think fitting a cockpit enclosure means constant removal and reassembly. The design is so effective that I have never needed another pair of hands in order to fold and erect the cover! All our winches can be operated and our cockpit enclosure unobtrusively remains permanently in the cockpit greatly increasing our sailing pleasure"
Jim Flanagan
