Tecsew founder and MD John is a member of the Goldman Sachs 10KSB Alumni, and has recently graduated from the Saïd Business School, University of Oxford.
John first registered Tecsew in 1984 at the age of 18 and has a passion for product development, innovation and product performance, together with offering industry leading customer service.
One of John's greatest achievements is developing the revolutionary, internationally acclaimed 3D design process we use.
Meet Ally, Tecsew’s Director and wife to John! Ally is the first point of call when a potential client gets in touch and does everything apart from product designs and production.
Ally's background is in Finance so when joining the company formally as Director in 2006 she had a lot of learning to do about the Marine Industry. She's now an expert and is passing her knowledge on to the rest of the team alongside John.
Gail is our superb Head Machinist. Having spent 13 years working for Tecsew, Gail is not only in charge, she is always willing to take new machinists under her wing and show them the ropes.
Elena is an integral part of the machinist core and a much-valued member of #TeamTecsew. Her attention to detail and hard work has contributed towards some of the finest work we have done.
Calvin is one of our fitter & patterner’s whose main responsibilities include creating and installing the frames on the boats.
‘Calv’s’ favourite part of the job is the construction and seeing the final product, and he wishes to build his already budding Tecsew career.
Connor completed an Apprenticeship as a Marine Trimmer with Tecsew.
He ensures that Tecsew's high standards are maintained between the process of machining to the fitting or delivery of our products.
Connor also runs our CNC conveyor cutting system cutting the component fabric parts ready for our Sewing Machinists.
In his spare time, Connor plays acoustic guitar and sings at local pub gigs. #TeamTecsew will be at the front cheering you on!
Adara is enthusiastic, eager to learn and one of our most creative machinists. We are so happy she has joined #TeamTecsew. She's a ray of sunshine on the factory floor and always keen to try her hand at any task or challenge.
Georgia is our newest member of the office team. Her customer service background and bubbly personality are being put to good use with our clients, with whom she is in regular contact via phone and email. Georgia is currently studying for a Business Management Degree alongside her job at #TeamTecsew, so she’s never idle. In her spare time, if she has any, Georgia enjoys spending time with her dog and exploring local foodie spots with her partner.
Jo is our newest Machinist here at #TeamTecsew. With a background in Marine Upholstery, she’s hit the ground running and we couldn’t be happier! In her spare time, Jo pushes her creativity even further with sewing projects, embroidery and making unique leather handbags for friends and family. Jo’s talents also extend to tending her garden, she’s an all-round artist and we’re grateful to have her!
Owen came to #TeamTecsew straight from secondary school and has been a credit to our production team ever since! He specializes in the manufacture of our frameworks, making sure they will fit perfectly onto your vessels and function as they should. Owen is always ready to get stuck in with any task assigned and help out his colleagues. Outside of work, Owen plays Football regularly and enjoys time with his friends.
Leah joined #TeamTecsew in Summer 2020 when the world was upside down; in the last year she has grown Heritage Garden Canvas into the successful sister company that it now is.
