Support Struts are an optional extra on most Cockpit Enclosures, even though they may be shown in the photos. However, on some of the larger models they may be included so please ask.
We can usually find a suitable way to support the enclosure with struts and may have more than one solution. This will enable the frame to be left up and not dismantled and for the canvas to be stowed in the supplied stowage valise.
We will endeavour to provide a solution where the winches are not compromised, but this is not always possible.
On most designs, the frames are split so that the leg sections can be removed from the top hoops, but for a small additional cost, the frames can also be split on the centreline and all joints secured with a sprung pin. This option can be useful where no satisfactory solution to stowing the frames on support struts can be found.
