Sunbathing Mattresses are often split into sections which are zipped together. The zip provides a means to separate the cushions for stowage, or acts as a useful hinge to fold the cushions. Alternatively, a separate cover can be ordered to cover the cushions whilst leaving them in situ.

Headrest sections can usually be incorporated, adding that extra touch of comfort and luxury. Cushions are held in place by various methods, but often some handrails can be utilised with webbing ties.
